Review: 5 Stars - Perfect!

Jolie Baker had it all, amazing friends, a college degree, and a man she planned to spend the rest of her life with. When her love is killed in action, Jolie has to learn to live again. Three years after Ethan’s death, she moves to Gravity Beach to start a new life. At her new teaching job, one of her students is surprised when her father returns home from war. Jolie never imagined how important the returning solider and his daughter would become.

David Stokes wants nothing more than to raise his daughter, Madison, and give her the best life he can. Because Madison’s mother abandoned them, David is all she has. When he meets his little girl’s teacher on the beach, he is surprised by how much he wants to know her. David sees the pain in Jolie’s eyes, but will his love be enough to ease her tattered soul?

I absolutely loved Courageous Dare and I couldn't wait to read Jolie's story in Gravity Beach. Lacie Nation does it again in this amazingly emotional romance story about love, loss, new beginnings and finding oneself again. It was perfect.

Jolie Baker is trying to start over after the devastating loss of her fiancé while he was deployed in the army. Three years later she moves to Gravity Beach hoping to start over. She's landed a teaching job and immediately old wounds come to surface as one of her students, Madison Stokes, is surprised in class by the return of her father, David, from war.

Envious yet intrigued, Jolie is surprised how important both father and daughter soon become. Now she just needs to learn how to let go of the grief so that she can love fully again, and David seems to be the man she needs to succeed...

This is an absolute must read and although each story stands on it's own, I do also recommend you read the first in the series, Courageous Dare. You won't be disappointed. Way to go, Lacie. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Best Wishes,
