A Cover reveal, A Giveaway, and a Sexy Teaser with Ashlynne Laynne

First off, I’d like to thank Jennifer for allowing me to appear on her beautiful site for yet another announcement. Today, I’m posting to reveal the cover, blurb and an exclusive hot excerpt for the upcoming, Blood Promise. It is the third in my Progeny Series and will release next month. I got the idea for this scene one Saturday morning while the hubby and I were cleaning the house and listening to Sirius Radio. Madonna’s Justify My Love came on and I stopped cleaning and ran to my writing room to write. This scene comes from a chapter entitled the exhibitionist and is my first bondage-type scene, but it is one of the hottest and dirtiest in the book. My philosophy for erotic writing is ‘hard sex mixed with harder love.’ I love writing the hot stuff, but feel there has to be a strong love element and emotional bonds for it to be satisfying. I think it’s safe to say that Blood Promise will cement my label as an erotic author.

As a prize today, one lucky commenter will receive books one and two of the series and the third when it releases in January. How’s that for an early Christmas gift? All you have to do is answer today’s question for the chance to win: What paranormal being would you love to have underneath your tree?

Now, the next chapter in Shauna and Ascher’s story begins...

Blood Promise (The Progeny Series #3)

“Their love is fated by an ancient prophecy. Now the promise is fulfilled.”

Ascher Rousseau is a half-human, half vampire whose life has been a series of prophecies and predictions. After finding incredible love and passion with Shauna—a Wiccan with powers beyond anything he’s ever known—he seals to her and hopes for happiness. But his enemies seek to destroy all that he loves, and he finds that happiness never lasts for long.

Darkness is descending and a vampiric revolution is nearing. A new brood of hatchlings is born to join their darkling brothers, in preparation for war. A preordained chain of events is set into motion that could lead to the rise of the demonic “cloaked one” and his half-human fallen children, while ending humanity—as we know it.

Can a supernatural love and the loyal bond of a family save the Rousseaus and the world from certain extinction?

Excerpts and Extras

Exclusive Excerpt from Blood Promise

With a stiff tongue, she lapped a slick circuit along the veins coursing his pulsing length and around the delicate skin of his cockhead. A wave of desire swept him, submerging his human nature and awakening the primitive beast within. A throaty growl emerged from the depths of his belly as her mouth slipped up and down his thickened shaft. Her full lips drew in his swollen crown, gently pulling on the tender tissue. His eyes rolled as her tongue tunneled into the sensitive slit, leaving behind her crimson kiss as she extracted a thick bead of pre-cum.

The telltale tingles in his hands preceded the claws springing from his fingertips, as the lengthened points of his fangs bit at his bottom lip.

A combination of wet warmth, hard suction and expertly timed motion lashed at him, bringing his release painfully close to the cusp. She seemed just as turned on as he was. Her moans reverberated through his dick, while her eyes fixed on his unmoving gaze. Steadily fisting him with her right hand, Shauna’s left hand masturbated her clit as her head bobbed up and down—working him hard, milking him with a gentle strength that echoed her familiarity with his cock and what made it explode.

Blood pounded in his head and swirled in his vision until he was lightheaded and panting for more, begging for mercy. His hips pushed upward, meeting each thrust of her mouth with one of his own. Pleasure ebbed and crested as everything inside him coiled and tightened with tension, his vision blurring blind with fang pulsing, blood boiling insanity. “Yes...yes...fuck me with your mouth, baby...make me come.”

Ascher’s throat rumbled with animalistic growling that mimicked the most primitive of mating sounds. A hot mix of heat, bloodlust and unbridled strength welled inside him. The flexing of his hands slackened the bite of the silver manacles, until the sound of twisting metal pierced through Shauna’s mouth-filled moans. He was free, but remained glued to the couch as climax weighted his yearning body. Heated waves travelled through him, bringing the pleasure and prompting the pain of a release brought on so quickly.

  1. I'd love to be a shifter so I could change into a wolf to run the woods or a bird to fly up into the clouds or something exotic like a lion to be Queen of the jungle! ;)

    1. Mishi,

Thank you so much for dropping in. I think wolves are very beautiful and mysterious. That's the wonderful thing about writing fantasy and the paranormal, the possibilities are infinite and the rules do not apply. Have a great weekend!

  2. Wow! You are on a roll! Congratulations!

    1. Hey Brenda,

So pleased you stopped by. Yes, my muse will not leave me alone. She's already badgering me about the next one, and this one isn't even out yet. BP is darker and much different than the first two. Thanks so much for taking time to drop in. <3

  3. Ashlynne Laynne is so talented that she has me reading her Vampire books and I never read vamps. This unique series is so different from the regular vampire genre, so awesome and hot!

    1. Thanks for stopping in, Wicked Leanore. I think a fair amount of insanity is to blame for the shift in my writing. I do strive to be different, but I find that being unique sometimes makes a story more difficult to write.

  4. I love your policy on your stories. Makes for great reading.

    1. Thanks for commenting Debby. As a writer, I think it's important to evolve. In my case, evolution came in the form of freedom to say what I mean. I consider writing erotically a gift, and I'm happy to share it with those who read my words. Have an awesome weekend and good luck with the drawing.

  5. Great cover, looking forward to reading it. I would like to find a Vampire, love them. Thx for the great giveaway.

  6. Lona,

Thanks for commenting. It is a beautiful cover, isn't it? I have a philosophy about my covers. I use a digital artist because I want something no one else has. I want all of my covers to be unique. I think if I had to choose, I'd choose a vamp for underneath my tree, as well. I dearly love them. Have a great weekend, and thanks again for stopping by.

  7. I would love to have a vampire under my tree. Thanks for the giveaway.

    1. Thanks for popping in, Tore. Yes, vamps are quite yummy. Have a great weekend.

  8. I want a Dragon shifter under my tree

    1. Hmmmm....
Not sure I'm familiar with Dragon shifters, Sheri, but I'm sure they are pretty hot, too. Thanks for commenting and have a great rest of the weekend

  10. Great cover, looking forward to reading it. I would like to find a werewolf, love them. Thx for the great giveaway.

  11. Laurie,

Thanks for commenting. I really love the cover, too. Werewolf, huh? I can see that, with all of their intensity and that raw animal magnetism. Have a great rest of the weekend, and good luck with the drawing.

  12. Congrats to Lona for winning the first three books of the Progeny Series. I'll be contacting you by email to confirm your information.
