However, there’s one fantasy that she’s never divulged, as it breaks their rule about bring other people into their sex life. One day, though, Becky decides to bite the bullet and tell Paul everything. She never expects him to make her fantasy come true. But then, Paul’s a very resourceful man.

A Stroke of Peach,

Eleanor’s a mature art student with a part-time job in a stationery store. One shift sees her sorting out the little-used upstairs warehouse. This signals the start of a war, which ends up with the two colleagues in a very compromising position in a dusty corner.

Welcome, Lucy, how long have you been an author?

LUCY: My first print publication was back in 2006, so I guess it was then! Though if you include unpublished works – ever since I could write.
*grins* What is your favourite genre?
LUCY: I don't really have one, to be honest. I write m/f, f/f and ménage within contemporary, paranormal, BDSM, etc... there's lots of variety to my work and I just tend to either write what pops into my head, or write what the call for submissions requires.

If someone hasn't read any of your work, what book would you recommend they start with and why?
LUCY: Well, it depends if they want m/f, f/f or ménage. For m/f stuff, I'd recommend On the Prowl because it has a nice variety of stories so people can what my writing style is like. For f/f, I'd recommend Bite with Height (especially if they like paranormal romance) because it's my favourite and most popular lesbian story. For ménage, I'd recommend A Menu with a Difference or Brick Dust & Bedsprings, dependent on whether the reader is looking for f/f/m (A Menu With...) or m/f/m (Brick Dust...).

What is the biggest surprise you’ve discovered about the writing process?
LUCY: Moving from short stories into longer work is tough. I recently had my first ever novella published, and although once I got into it, I really enjoyed writing it, it was difficult. Making sure that the story remained interesting, fun and sexy was a challenge, but early reviews indicate I've pulled it off (thankfully). I also developed the hugest crush on my hero whilst I was writing the novella.

Can you tell us about one of your current works in progress?
LUCY: Yes. I'm currently working on my story for an anthology I'm co-editing with Victoria Blisse, called Smut by the Sea. My story is called Dodging, and I don't want to give too much away, so I'm just going to say it's about a girl who sets out to seduce the guy working on the dodgems at a funfair by the sea...

Name one thing readers would be surprised to know about you.
LUCY: I'm only 26. Most people think I'm much older. Not sure if that's a good thing or not!

Name your top three writing goals?

LUCY: Start a novel. Finish a novel. Publish a novel.
Great answer, if you had a warning label, what would it
say?
LUCY: Warning: I'm the girl your mother warned you about.

LOL, if you had the chance to meet one of your characters privately, who would it be and what would you do?
LUCY: Ooh, it would be Damien from Off the Shelf, my novella. As I mentioned, I have the biggest crush on him. Therefore, I think you can probably guess what we'd do ;)

What is the naughtiest thing you’ve ever done?
LUCY: I've done the deed at a popular UK theme park, while thousands of people were just feet away.

  1. On the Prowl sounds great. Especially the first two stories.

I thought you were older too. I guess the majority of authors I read about are now 40+. It's a little off putting sometimes that some of the hottest writers are 60+, though I know nothing new has been invented in my lifetime when it comes to sex.
