Jessica Samuels is on Labelle Books today with an interview, a sneak peek into her new urban fantasy novella, The Killer Contract Agency, and has offered all of us a generous giveaway. One ebook copy to everyone who comments.

That's right folks, leave a comment for Jessica after reading her interview with us, follow Labelle Books, and leave your email address. Jessica has promised to give every single one of you a copy of her book.

Amazing, right?

Please help me give a big welcome to Jessica and comment, comment, comment...

Short Story introducing the Agency: The people who bullied you in high school could very well be the next dictator bent on the destruction of an entire race. Something people cannot predict until now with the weapon of choice: A powerful bracelet giving you the ultimate power. Salina wields it for the first time to get revenge on the people that bullied her to death.

Welcome Jessica, how long have you been an author?
Jessica: I have been an author since August, and a writer since high school.

Congratulations on your recent success. Being a published author is an amazing accomplishment and I wish you a ton of sales. What is your favourite genre?
Jessica: I have several: Urban Fantasy, paranormal romance, and young adult.

What is the biggest surprise you’ve discovered about the writing process?
Jessica: The biggest surprise about the process is when the characters take on a life of their own. It completely changes the story, and takes it to more than just a story it breathes life into it making it a real world instead of one on paper.

It sure does, can you tell us about one of your current works in progress?
Jessica: I am working on multiple projects. One of them is a revenge anthology which is a collection of stories that deal with people getting what is coming to them. It will introduce Scarlet Nightshade, and I am creating a novel from her point of view so people can see how she became a vampire. I also introduce Sapphire Stone who is a shapeshifting witch, and she has a psychic vampire boyfriend named Storm. I will release a book that tells her story, and you get to see how she met Storm, and how Jeff’s Detective Agency came about. The last one is called Astral Witch, and the main character Ametrine is diagnosed with schizophrenia, but she is really an astral witch that can interact with the spirit world. I got quite a few books brewing, so there is more to come from me.

Interesting, if you had a warning label, what would it say?
Jessica: Warning: Head in the clouds, and prone to run into things.

LOL, if you could choose to time travel, would you go backward or forward, and why?
Jessica: I would go forward instead of backward to see the future, and I would see how technology has changed. I would want to see if the world was a better place. I would want to see all the advances humanity has made so far, and see if laser guns are invented too. It would be cool to see flying cars, and maybe teleporting devices. Maybe the humans in the future have psychic abilities, and maybe the televisions and cell phones are a thing of the past.

I'd like to thank Jessica for joining us today, she's done a great job with this interview and leaves us with a great excerpt. For those of you who would like to learn more about Jessica and her work she can be reach through these sites:

Some people get bullied, victimized, and had horrible things happen to them. The bullies are never reported, and the teachers do not say anything, or do anything, and they never get involved. The parents are like that as well, and even if they do report it nothing happens. They let it continue unaware of the psychological, and physical damage that is done. Sometimes it is too late, and sometimes the victim is allowed vengeance on the people who picked on her especially since THE Contract Killer Agency found out about all the bullying in schools everywhere. They also invented a machine that predicts what people will become when they get older, and if they turn out to be a horrible person when they grow up then they will die before it happens.
It all starts with a girl named Salina, and who is very pretty. She has long dark hair with striking chocolate colored eyes. She is not like other people because she has specialness about her like a unique aura around her, but people look down upon her because they think she is strange or weird. People pick on her because of it, and they treat her badly. The bullies are doing horrible stuff to her such as gossiping about her, lying to her, calling her names, and threatening her life.
However, that is when fate decided to intervene, and brought her a surprise. It was a sunny day in June, and school had just ended for the summer. The smell of grilling and flowers in the air indicated the warm summer day has already begun.
Salina was walking in her neighborhood to clear her head from the mess of her mind full of anger and pain. When she walked along Vine Street she spotted a handsome guy with dark brown eyes, hair and a really nice tan. He was really built as well. He was heading straight for her. She wiped her eyes making sure they are tear-free.
He smiled at her, “Hi, my name is Carter I presume you’re Salina right?”
She nodded shocked this gorgeous guy was talking to her because all the boys at school ignored her. The hot guys at least, and most of them were stuck up jocks. The gorgeous guy smelled like heaven to her Japanese cherry blossoms to be exact, her favorite scent. She also noticed his British accent.
She stopped being shocked, and smiled back. She was curious as to why he was talking to her, “That’s my name why do you ask?”
“I want to give you a present, and it is something the Powers That Be gave me to help you with your bullying issue.” She blinked, wondering how he knew about her troubles. Then replied sarcastically, “Oh, I thought crying for several hours did not do too much to them. I thought they could not hear me,” She mumbled, “I thought they did not care about me.”

Best wishes,
