For those of you who don't know it. I have two releases coming up within this next week. Sinfully Sexy (Leather and Pleasure 3) which releases on September 2nd, and Second Chance Love which comes out on the 5th.

So I figured I'd post an excerpt, and do a giveaway. I hope you like kinky short stories! Leave a comment with your email address below it, and follow the blog for your chance to win. I'll be giving away one copy of Leather and Pleasure (m/m/f menage), one copy of When Sparks Ignite (Leather and Pleasure 2), and one copy of Sinfully Sexy (Leather and Pleasure 3)- f/f/m menage.

Sinfully Sexy,

She grabbed Lila's hand and approached him in the driveway. Parker had driven her to work but she wanted to ride home with Lila so they took separate cars. "I want you to take off your shirt and then turn around with your hands behind your back." Sable let go of Lila and pressed herself against Parker's back. "That's it, baby, I like a man who knows his place, because a man who listens gets rewarded in the end. Isn't that right sweetheart?" She looked over her shoulder and smiled at her beautiful girlfriend as she answered.

"It sure is, trust me Parker, Sable's rewards are well worth her dominating ways in the bedroom. When you were together earlier it was just a small glimpse of what's yet to come. It's partly why I love her so damn much."

"Love you too, Lila." Sable said as she bound Parkers hands with a silk tie.

"Well then, I'm a lucky man because I already like where this is heading."

Sable jerked him forward and led him into the house with Lila close behind. Once inside she led him to the bedroom, leaving him to stand beside their bed. She told him not to move and then went to her bedside drawer to grab a blindfold before she approached him again. "Despite coming twice already, Lila tells me you've been excited for this all night long, so I thought we'd give you a little release first, and then work you up all over again. I already know you have stamina from earlier, and I plan to use you up nice and good."

"I think it's time for him to get naked." Lila smiled, "Let me help you out with that."

As Lila worked on getting him out of his pants, Sable Lazily swung the blindfold around on her finger. "Do you trust me Parker?"

"Yes."

"And are you open to whatever I may suggest tonight? We only seek to pleasure you, and I promise nothing painful, but I need you to submit to me."

"Yes, Sable, I'll do whatever it takes." His answer was breathless, and finally naked, his beautiful cock stood proud and glistened with pre-come.

She walked to her closet and brought out a small box of toys. Laying out some lube, a strap-on, a flogger, and some condoms, she instructed Lila to get some ice for them. Lila was back in a flash and handed her a bowl full of ice cubes. "Good now how about a little sensation play?" She didn't wait for an answer, instead she walked towards Lila, fisted her hands inside her hair, and roughly kissed her in front of Parker, their tongues molding together, circling, and savouring each other with mutual passion before breaking away. Sable nibbled along her neck and then licked her way up to Lila's ear to whisper her next intsruction...

I'll be choosing three lucky winners this Friday September 2, 2011. Those who do not follow the contest instructions will be disqualified. Enjoy!

Welcome Author Kiki Howell

I'd like to Welcome Kiki Howell to "Labelle Books" today. Ever since she was young, Kiki Howell has loved to listen to a well-woven tale with real characters, inspired plots, and delightful resolutions. Kiki could spend hours lost in a book, and soon she knew that creating lives, loves, and losses with just words had to be the greatest thing that she could do. To that end, she pursued her study of literature and writing, earning a bachelor's degree in English. She then followed in a master's program in Creative Writing.

So tell us Kiki, how long have you been an author?

Kiki - Well, I have always written ever since I can remember. I took writing courses in college, but then I had my kids and didn't write for over a decade. I guess I seriously started back in 2007, and luckily got my first contract the same year.

I can see why. I've read your work, and can honestly say that I've enjoyed every single one of your stories so far. Out of curiosity what would your favorite genre be?

Kiki - Romance. I pretty much don't care what sub-genre you add under that, but I love reading about love :) Paranormal does run a close second though!

Interesting, and I'm sure most of us share your love of romance. I know that I do. Can you tell us what you found to be the biggest surprise you've discovered about the writing process so far?

Kiki - Actually, I'm a huge plotter so my biggest surprise came writing "A Questionable Hero". For this story I only knew that I wanted to try writing an angel and demon story. So, I just began writing for the fun of it, having no idea when I started it what would happen in the next chapter, and finding the ending as I went along. In fact, I was just as surprised by the ending when I wrote it as I'm sure any reader will be reading it! LOL

I love a good paranormal story, and I thought the ending to "A Questionable Hero" was great. In fact, I wanted more, but that's a good thing. Can you tell us about one of your current works in progress?

Kiki - Right now I am working out the plot on the sequel to my novel "Hidden Salem" which releases in April 2012. At this point I am more in the questioning phase, trying to figure out what the possibilities are for this second book.

I'm looking forward to it, what is in your current TBR pile?

Kiki - I am a reviewer for Suspense Magazine, and recently finished reviewing the Krewe Of Hunters series by Heather Graham. I LOVED this series! So, I just went to Borders - a final trip browsing the sales :( - and bought a few more Heather Graham books.

Can I recommend Heather Graham's "Blood Red" then? She's an amazongly talented author and I can see why you wanted to read more of her books. What advice, if any, would you give to an aspiring author?

Kiki - Stick to the story in your heart, the one that's yours to write. Many times I think, well I know I did, that we have to change our voice, be like the books already out there to get published ourselves. I read this advice when I was first writing, an editor at a house I was interested in said if you stick to the story in your heart, that it will show in the story. So I did just that. I wrote my story, turning off that internal critique that says that is too crazy or whatever. So far, it has worked for me. Sure, you get the occassional bad review *winks* but the good have outweighed the bad, and I have now had seven different publishers who have liked my work enough to publish it.

Congratulations, Kiki, but before you go let's throw in a couple of fun questions to spice it up a little.

If you had a warning label, what would it say?

Kiki - CAUTION: Highly Passionate Person Ahead With Volatile Creativity - Chick does better in fantasy land than she does the real world. When in the real world, moods can change on a dime. Approach with caution. If outburst occurs, your best chance of survival is to let her retreat into her mind whether with her computer or a book!

Ha ha ha, that's awesome, and I can certainly relate. Now just one more for the road, if you could choose to time travel, would you go backwards or forward?

Kiki - Defintiely Backward! I always said I was born in the wrong time. I would go back to Regency England in a heartbeat ;) Luckily I'm a writer, and my novel "Torn Asunder" let me do that for awhile. Although people looked a tme differently when Regency slang started creeping into my everyday conversations! LOL

Thank you for stopping by today, Kiki. "Torn Asunder" is definitely on my TBR pile. For those of you interested in learning more about Kiki, and her books she can be contacted by the links below:

Here is a little more on Kiki Howell's latest release, my personal review of "A Questionable Hero", a buy link, and a contest for a chance to win a pdf copy of Kiki's "Irreconcilable Differences".

In order to win you must be a follower of this blog, and leave your email address below your comment. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. The winner will be drawn on Saturday August 27. Thank you for stopping by!

Title: A Questionable Hero

Release date: May 2011

Author: Kiki Howell

Genre: Paranormal (Angel & Demon), Erotic Romance

Blurb:

Born of a mortal woman but raised in Hell by the demon that sired him, Abdamas is a Halfling-proof incarnate of the war between good and evil that exists in each of us. Shaebiel is an angel warrior earning her ultimate salvation in Heaven by fighting Demons like Abdamas who are in search of human souls on earth.

In the heat of a raging battle, Abdamas sees Shaebiel and wants her. When the blade of another demon aims for her, Abdamas is injured himself trying to save her. Shaebiel can't believe a demon has rescued her from certain death and takes her questionable hero home with her to heal him.

As they both fight and surrender to their desires, the conflict around them continues, and there is Heaven and Hell to pay for their actions. Through divine intervention they are offered a gift. But Hell is nowhere near finished with either of them, and the stakes are getting higher and higher.

Can a questionable hero sacrifice enough to redeem himself in the eyes of Heaven so that he may claim the love of an angel?

And, because I've enjoyed it so much I've decided to share my own personal review with you all;

Fate works in mysterious ways as Abdamas, a half demon/half human warrior saves Shaebiel's soul in the heat of a raging battle between good and evil. Shaebiel is a warrior angel put on earth to fight demons to save the human souls they seek to take possession of.

Abdamas gets hurt while saving her life and in return she brings him home to help save him of his wounds. Astonished, with her questionable hero's intent on saving her, Shaebiel's confusion soon becomes clouded by the desire that they belong together.

The conflict around them continues, and as they both surrender to their desires Abdamas is dealt with a gift of new life and the Hell he's only known thus far in life is far from finished for either of them. Sacrifices are made, pain is dealt, and desires prevail , but can this questionable hero prove himself worthy in the eyes of Heaven to claim the love of his angel?

Kiki Howell does it again in this amazingly written paranormal romance of good versus evil. Once I started reading this love story I couldn't stop until I reached the end. The romance was heartfelt, the sex was hot, and the ending will leave you wanting more. I loved it!

A Count Down To "Second Chance Love"

Is it possible to find the love of your life when you're eighteen?

After returning to her hometown, Teegan Hallowell realizes she's still in love with the man she left ten years ago, but it'll take a disappearance and some heroics before they finally realize that they were meant to be.

I'm delighted to announce that "Second Chance Love" will debut on September 5th, 2011 with Secret Cravings Publishing. http://www.secretcravingspublishing.com/

With just under three weeks to go I'm beginning to count the days until it's release (20 from today). As I'm sure it is with every writer, for me the excitement comes from the moment that contract is offered, and then the groans come when the edits come around, but then the excitements returns until the expected day arrives and my nervousness seeps through. Are my reader's going to enjoy it?

*Shrugs* One can hope, but it's always a good sign when your editor emails you to let you know how much she loves your hero (twice in fact).

Liam, *Sigh*...

Liam was created after a phone conversation with my sister. We were talking about our beloved mother who passed away way too soon at the tender age of 34, and how the only flaw we could think of when it came to her was her taste in men. Anyway, now that my sister and I are approaching her age we got to talking about traits that we were attracted to, and one's that we'd be sure to steer clear from thanks to her and it really got me thinking about the if only's in life. Liams character came to life then, after some serious thought of what I wanted in someone, but also the type of guy I would have loved for her to have, for any abused woman to have for that matter. A real life modern day hero, saving the damsel in distress. A second chance love.

Stay tuned for some excerpts at a later date. For now I hope you enjoy the blurb, and sexy cover, and mark your calendars for the 5th.

Second Chance Love,

Goody, goody, Teegan Hallowell was tired fo being teased for following the rules. So, when her brothers sexy friend shows an interest, she rebels, and learns all about the good kind of bad.

Now ten years later, Teegan returns home to escape a horrible mistake, but wonders if she's made an even bigger one by returning. There was a reason she left Digby, when her dreams shattered and the man she loved betrayed her. So when she realizes that she's still in love with him, matters become complicated when he reveals her reason for leaving him was all in vain.

Liam Bates has every intention of loving Teegan again, but she's had it rough and he needs to rebuild her trust. The spark is still there, and as they explore what once was, their love is tested when Teegan disappears and Liam will stop a nothing until he finds her again.

Giving in!

Welcome to my very first blog post. Okay, so I've blogged before, as a guest on someone else's blog, but have never decided to take the plunge to actually open one myself. Life is hectic in general, and well, being a writer is hard enough work between family life, your job, juggling the kids and a home, not to mention your published work and promoting as much as possible to get your name out there. There's also, the countless works in progress that are just screaming to get out onto the page, and there never seems to be enough hours in the day to get it all done. Hence why I've never had my own blog until now.

Why did I finally give in you wonder?

Well, it's simple...
I finally realized that blogging means exposure. I know, obvious, right? I guess I always realized it, but just kept putting it off for some reason. I mean do people really want to hear what I have to say, or even care. I certainly hope so...lol

I love my work. Reading and writing is a big part of my life. I enjoy it, and I'm trying to make a name for myself, make myself recognizable upon the millions of other ridiculously talented authors in the world. I've met quite a few in fact since I've become published, and am that much more blessed because of their support, kindness, and friendship.

I love my family, I try to love life, and I love to read and write whenever time permits it. So there you have it, and here I am. My name is Jennifer Labelle. I was first published in February 2011 and I now have eight contracts, with three available releases now and the other five to be released shortly. Welcome to my blog!
